1. The basics

Why Stationery is a US marketplace for stationery and personalized paper goods. Content and conduct that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or hateful is not allowed — whether in a listing, an uploaded design, a shop profile, a message, or a review. Sellers are responsible for everything in their shops; buyers are responsible for everything they upload.

2. Content you may not list, upload, or send

• Infringing or counterfeit material — artwork, logos, brands, characters, or fonts you do not own or have permission to use; knockoffs; or items that violate someone's copyright, trademark, or other rights (see the Intellectual Property & DMCA Policy).
• Hateful, harassing, or discriminatory content — material that promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against people based on a protected characteristic — including race, color, national origin, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status — or that harasses or threatens another person.
• Sexually explicit or adult content, and content that sexualizes or endangers minors (the latter is reported to authorities).
• Violent, graphic, or dangerous content, including material that promotes or facilitates self-harm or illegal activity.
• Illegal goods or services, or anything whose sale requires a license or registration we do not support (for example, firearms, ammunition, tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, prescription or controlled substances, or currency).
• Deceptive or fraudulent content — false claims about a product, its materials, or its origin; fake reviews; or misrepresenting how a design was made (see Section 4).
• Health or medical claims on paper goods — statements in a title, description, or image that a stationery product diagnoses, cures, treats, heals, prevents, or relieves any disease or health condition. This applies to wellness journals, anxiety or mood planners, "aromatherapy" cards, affirmation or manifestation cards, and similar paper goods. A disclaimer does not cure a prohibited claim.
• Fraudulent documents and financial-instrument facsimiles — templates or printable designs for fake diplomas, professional-license or certification certificates, transcripts, pay stubs, bank or account statements, or government-issued identification; and counterfeit currency, currency facsimiles, or license-plate facsimiles.
• Private or personal information of others used without their consent.

3. Categories we do not sell at all

Why Stationery sells stationery and personalized paper goods. We do not host any listing outside that scope — including, without limitation, medical or health-claim products, baby and children's safety products, food, cosmetics, animal or wildlife products, weapons, personal protective or lifesaving equipment, or mature/adult merchandise. A listing that belongs to one of these categories will be removed regardless of how it is described.

This includes animal-derived embellishments applied to an otherwise-permitted paper good — for example real feathers, ivory, bone, shell, coral, tortoiseshell, or fur trim on a card, journal, invitation, or keepsake. A drawing, print, or photograph of an animal is fine; a physical animal-derived material attached to the item is not.

4. Honest "how it was made"

Every design is marked as hand-drawn/painted, photographic or digital, or AI-generated, and that marking is shown to buyers. You must mark your artwork honestly. Passing off AI-generated art as hand-drawn, or otherwise misstating a design's origin or materials, is a violation of this policy.

5. Mature content and graphic material

Why Stationery does not host mature, obscene, or gratuitously graphic material in any form. This total ban covers both imagery and listing text, including: sexually explicit or suggestive imagery; gore, graphic violence, or shock imagery; heavy profanity presented as the product's main content; and sexual, degrading, or familial-sexual language in a title, description, or personalization example. Content that sexualizes or endangers a minor is never permitted and is reported to authorities.

We do not currently offer any way to publish age-restricted or "mature" artwork. If we ever choose to permit a narrow category of mature art, we would first put an age-gating and content-tagging mechanism in place — including a mature tag and an obscured thumbnail — before any such listing could appear. Until that mechanism exists, all mature content is prohibited.

6. Children's paper goods and product safety

Some stationery is made or marketed for children — for example coloring books, crayons, markers, kids' stickers, activity pads, and children's craft or sticker kits. A product designed or primarily intended for children 12 and under is a children's product under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and related rules, and a seller who lists one is responsible for meeting the applicable safety, testing, labeling, and tracking requirements. You may not list a child-marketed paper good that presents a small-parts or choking hazard to children under 3, or that includes loose high-powered magnets, water beads, or other components banned or restricted for children's products. We may remove any child-marketed listing that does not credibly meet these requirements.

7. US-only sales and sanctions compliance

Why Stationery serves United States persons and US delivery addresses only. You may not use the platform to transact with individuals, entities, or destinations subject to US economic sanctions (including any party on the US Treasury OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list) or in violation of US export controls.

8. What happens if you violate this policy

Depending on severity, we may remove the content, cancel affected orders, limit or suspend a shop or account, or terminate it — and, where the law requires, report the matter to authorities. Repeat violations lead to termination. Removal of a listing does not by itself entitle a buyer or seller to any payment beyond what the Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy provides.

9. Reporting a violation

If you see a listing, design, message, or review that breaks this policy, report it from the item or contact us at hello@craterinkstudios.com. We review reports and aim to respond within 5 business days. Copyright and other IP complaints follow the process in the Intellectual Property & DMCA Policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the current version is the one posted here, identified by the effective date above.
